Under The Hood

Hey monster truck fans! This is a new additions to the Dominator web site to help keep our fans up to date on all of the action.  My name is Jeff Givara. I will be writing about any exciting news and whatever else might pop up during the season. Here is a little about me: I am a childhood friend of Kyle. I help by working in the shop with him and I also go on the road whenever I can. So you can be sure I will give you all of the newest developments from CHANDLER MOTOR SPORTS!

The short video on the home page was from the Greensboro N.C. show. As you can see it was a busy weekend! Kyle and I had been putting the truck back together in the shop for a couple of weeks before the show. After some tuning it was running great and looking just as good. With the truck loaded up, he headed south. Once we got through the snow and ice storms, we made good time. The first day we didn't get to run the whole show because of transmission problems. Kyle said it would not shift into second. That night and well into the morning we put in the first back up trans. That morning we hooked up all of the the lines, but it had no reverse. All that work for nothing! So out came the third spare trans to be put in outside (We couldn't fix it inside because of the pit party). The third time was a charm! The trans had all of the gears, and we were ready to go racing. It seemed like half of the trucks were having charging trouble, maybe something to do with the building? Either way Kyle wasn't out there long, he came back from intros on the hook, electrical bug. After putting a starter in and charging the batteries on a generator, Dominator was ready to give the crowd the show they came there for! Kyle fired up the Hemi and headed down the tunnel headed for freestyle. I got to the tunnel to watch him, just in time to see the truck start to do a donut. The dirt had different plans, over Kyle went. The crowd went nuts, the first and only roll over of the weekend! After the loader righted the bright red Dodge, she fired right back up to the applause of the crowd. It was a very busy weekend. I would like to thank Dave Wiezorek, Chris, and all of the other teams who helped us through the shows. Hope to see all of you Dominator fans at the next shows!

Well the new  body had its first show! Kyle and the Dominator went to Huston Texas last weekend. The truck was wearing its new four door Toyota Tundra body, as well as a new paint job. To those who didnt see it, the body is semi gloss black, with silver flames, and DOMINATOR and the frame are yellow.  It is one of only two Toyota bodies to be run on monster trucks!  All of us a Chandler Motor Sports are excited about the new look of the truck!
